I have purchased it twice for that reason! I missed it years ago and bought it used on Mercari and then sold it and bought a new one because I liked it that much, I am still on the fence about it now lol And I am so glad I am not alone here, it just drives me crazy.

I still have all my thoughts, except for that I think that the pricing makes sense now that I have used the palette. The shipping price needs work imo. Yeah I got this it's in a plain brown box. Inside it's got the palette design. So they spent on outer carton and sleeve. Not sure why. I don't need the box I throe away to have the theme.

@jaclyntriesit Oh my gosh, yes. I had been wanting to order for a while, but the shipping and price were just insane. Then I saw Cold Moon and gave in. Now, I love it. It's so pretty, and I have nothing exactly like it...but I can maybe dupe it with a few things. I think they are taking advantage of us, but you know what? I paid this much for Pat McGrath, so I suppose it's okay? I don't know. I will say I don't mess with drugstore eyeshadow. I can't; I'm in my 40s and remember using them, and they are terrible. But these indie brands are fleecing us. We need a middle ground here because this palette and my Adept ones are insanely expensive. I could be saving for my retirement or a trip to Europe! Makeup is my weakness . Sigh

At least with Adept they run some pretty good sales and offer free shipping over a certain amount. Like I want to say I had picked up a few palettes last year for 30% off maybe more and then they shipped for free so at that point it definitely made those worthwhile. It is extremely hard to keep up with the onslaught of releases at full price and to be honest I’m on a no buy, but if I were going to purchase, it would only be on sale, so that is why I don’t even try to review new products anymore.

It is a GREAT palette!! Plus I’ve always loved GS and No Doubt lol and yes, I am trying to downsize as much as possible. My health has been rough, like we hit our family deductible in January and have a lot out of pocket to cover so I need to try and catch up. I haven’t even worn eyeshadow this year because I haven’t been well. 😭 as far as leaving the community, I’m not sure if what I do now can be considered in it lol I can’t pick up any releases but I will share random stuff as I’m able to when I feel well enough. @@jaclyntriesit I’m so sorry to hear that. Hoping your health improves and stays on the good side for the rest of the year. But I completely understand that whole insurance/medical bills stuff. It’s overwhelming. Healthcare shouldn’t be so expensive. As for me, I took a break from watching beauty content on UA-cam. Now I watch a little bit have been better about purchasing way less because I have more than enough. Lol As for my family, my husband is deployed until October some time. I’m currently seeking legal action through the military in regard to my son’s school not following his IEP, specifically him not having is one-on-one. He puts everything in his mouth. So an aid is necessary for that, along with other behaviors my son has. My son has swallowed things and has been hurt before but Friday was my breaking point. An aid was not with him and he walked back into the building (they were outside at recess) and into the bathroom. A kid did not flush and my son reached in and ate poop. Then he got sick from it on Sunday and his stomach is still recovering. I am PISSED. I’m so overwhelmed and stressed out with this stupid principal and district not giving a fuck about my son’s safety.
